We matched on a dating app and had our first date at a small chocolate & gelato shop in Des Moines, Iowa in early 2023. Koner chose the location because he thought Libby would "like the vibe" (and she did!). By our third or fourth date, we both knew we had found our person. Koner moved in with Libby in summer 2024 and by fall, Koner popped the question! Koner set up a picnic in a local park complete with all our favorite snacks, including the gelato we had on our first date. He even used the picnic basket that Libby's parents got as a wedding gift back in 1993. We live in Urbandale, Iowa, with our beloved cats, Milo and Roscoe, and love to cook together, go on trips, and try new local restaurants. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people!
