What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 3:30pm! Please plan to arrive a little early as once the ceremony begins, we will not be able to let folks in until the cocktail hour begins.

What time does the reception go until?

Answer

We have the ballroom booked until 10:30pm. If you still have some energy to party, there are several bars and taverns nearby!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our guests dressed up with us! Please wear formal attire and avoid colors reserved for the bride. For women this includes floor length gowns, tea-length, and midi dresses. For men this includes suits and tuxes (please no jeans).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to make this an adults-only wedding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" meaning no phones or cameras. This allows us all to be fully present as we say "I do". We have professional photographers and videographers to capture the ceremony, and we will share these with you as soon as we can! After the ceremony, you are free to take as many pictures as you'd like!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at our venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at the Hawthorne Hotel, you may park in their lot behind the building. If you are not staying at the hotel, there are several parking garages nearby.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! If you're not staying at the hotel, please plan accordingly to get home safely.

I have a food allergy or restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when you RSVP and make a choice for your entrée please indicate if you have a food allergy or restriction (i.e. vegan).
