In fact they were such good friends that they would ask their parents to drop them off at school early just so they could hang out together more! Craig is Ian's finest and most only full brother. Youthful resentment has given way to a strong relationship filled with pinball, bar trivia and attending the mostly losing sporting events of the many Minnesota professional sporting teams. Hardly an argument to be had, just don't ask who's older!

Libby and Rachel have known each other longer than anybody else. Even when Libby's mom Kel made her wear a full on multilayered snow suit to wait for the bus, they still became friends. Youths spent working at Rachel's family's barn, riding and tending to the majestic beasts. The two used to make schedules during their sleepovers to plan how to stay up all night. What a bunch of nerds! I promise Ian is not writing this while Libby dictates.

Anywho the same logic applies here to Ian's most tenured friend, seen riding third on this motor scooter picture.

Despite many arguments as kiddos Nina and Libby have become much closer over the years. Nina has since forgiven Libby for trying to put her up for adoption when she was little. Although usually the inverse is true where the younger 'borrows' from the older, Libby always used to steal Nina's clothes as she respected and desired her keen fashion sense. The two sisters love to travel together and share a mutual interest in attending EDM shows. Nina says she got Libby into that scene, but no, Libby is independently cool and found out about it herself. Libby always loved visiting her little sister at school in Menomonie Wisconsin, there is really no place like it!

There has been very few years since Ian first met Davis where they did not spend an inordinate amount of time together. Occasionally you have those friends that you want to distance yourself from, Davis is not one of those friends.
Sara Kalisch

Libby's baby sister, although they were not close at all as kids, they have become a lot closer over the last few years. Libby can always count on Sara for important things, like forcing her to braid her hair before a big night out. Sara and Libby share similar sensibilities when it comes to adequately assessing the character of those outside the family (Libby: 'Say we both like to judge people together,' Ghostwriter: 'I'm going to spruce that up a bit').
Cornelius McCabe

Cornelius always has a smile on his face, whether it's losing to the groom in tennis, showing Ian how to hit a proper ball at the batting cages or being chased out of his brother Caleb's room for playing Halo when he was at work. He is seen riding second on this here picture of the motor scooter.
Amanda Zielike

Libby's college roommate, who is excellent at giving advice. Libby and Amanda enjoy doing many different activities particularly going to Wakame. Both are very adroit at having multiple conversations at the same time. Both love cats! When you need a friend, you can count on Amanda (except when you are expecting a prompt text response! very old fashioned Amanda is, maybe a written letter would be a better option). Dearest Amanda, are you free in two fortnights?

Andrew Charles Kuettel has remained very close to the groom even after moving to sunnier pastures in beautiful Arizona a few years back. If you ever need a golfer or a darter or a deal closer, you could do much worse than having Andrew on your side!

Libby and Bree met the summer after high school ended. The two used to always find trouble together and have the best adventures. Libby can always count on Bree for the most blunt advice, whether she wants it or not. Bree also spotted Ian that fateful night when the couple first met. This writer has personally heard Libby refer to Bree as one of her 'ride or die' friends on multiple unique occasions.

Contrary to this stunning photo of Michael holding a football, he in fact is not the starting quarterback on a Tuesday night men's League. Ian's most recent friend to be in the Bridal party, the two enjoy bowling together and attending such far off lands as Glacier National Park or Milwaukee.

Libby's college roommate, assigned at random, what great luck Ari turned out to be such a good friend! Ari is always planning the next girls night for Libby and her pals, but Libby is just as happy having a wine night on the couch watching terrible (or wonderful?) Lifetime channel movies. As the years pass perhaps the costumes in this picture should change!
Doug Trumm

It was always a treasure when Doug could join the Foster family on vacations back in the day, as his quick wit and sunny disposition made the 'don't even get me started' clan enjoy themselves in a way they could not solo. Nowadays it is always a treat when Doug comes home to visit, and the couple travels to Seattle often to visit Doug and Britta as well! In fact, Ian proposed to Libby on a hike to Colchuck Lake following Doug's 30th birthday celebration just last year.
Natalie Walker

Natalie is an excellent listener and is very good at telling Libby she needs to calm down when she needs to calm down. An ebullient person with an infectious laugh, Natalie is a friend you all want and need! Natalie and Libby both enjoy getting their nails done together (specifically at Turbo Nails, where even Libby has few complaints). Libby also forgives Natalie for being a cat hater.

Will Kalisch, what a guy. Technically I think we are going to be brothers in law now. There is nobody else you'd rather have as a brother. Whether it's snowmobiling in Michigan or farting on his brother Alex's pillow, there's no better partner in crime than Will Kalisch. P.S. Alex we didn't actually do that.

Libby's newest friend in the bridal party, Caroline is always there to travel together or go to concerts. They enjoy a nice balance of wine and cheese nights and going to the gym together. Libby can always count on Caroline for a fun night out, although she sometimes wishes Caroline was a little taller so that Libby wouldn't look like such a giantess in all their pictures together!

Max Roman has always been a part of Ian's life. Disc golf, snow sports, Geometry Wars, these activities only scratch the surface of the decade+ that these two have been friends together. Max is always showing Ian how to grow a proper beard or win at skill claw.
