It all began in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in early 2019 - two college students on neighboring campuses, unknowingly about to start the greatest chapter of their lives. Elizabeth was a freshman at Millersville University and Henry was a sophomore at Franklin & Marshall College. Through mutual friends, their paths crossed. They instantly connected and knew they had something special. Their first date set the tone for what would become a lifelong love story: a walk through Lancaster City to Square One Coffee. On Valentine’s Day, Henry officially asked Elizabeth to be his girlfriend with chocolate-covered strawberries, a handwritten note, and excitement for what was to come. From there, their college years were woven together by shared adventures, late-night talks, and short 15-minute drives between their two campuses. In 2020, COVID-19 created a two and a half hour distance between them from Millersville, PA to Mountainside, NJ. Weekend visits and endless FaceTime calls became their rhythm, proof that love finds a way through every mile. In 2023, life led them to a new beginning in Edison, New Jersey, when Elizabeth was accepted into Rutgers University to pursue her Master’s in Social Work. Together, they turned their apartment into a home; filling it with laughter, memories, and their beloved cat, Kevin. After six years of dating, in March 2025, while vacationing in Phoenix, Arizona, Henry proposed at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. Elizabeth joyfully accepted, and the couple began excitedly planning their wedding immediately. As they dreamed of putting down roots, they began searching for a place to truly call home in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. During their search, they were blessed to live with Henry’s wonderful family - Margaret, Henry, and Grace - creating joyful memories together. Then, after months of searching, they found a beautiful home in downtown Bethlehem, PA. Since moving in September 2025, their love has only deepened. Their days are now filled with cozy evenings cooking together, laughter echoing through the rooms, and friends gathered in the living room. Their home has become a space filled with warmth and love. Next, they are so incredibly excited to celebrate their commitment to one another with all of their loved ones in October 2026.
