We met on our 8th grade Washington DC Trip! Lena and Pearl City schools went on the trip together. I (Libby) had shyly had interest in Dayton and was pushed (literally) by my friend Sydni to say something. All I could think to tell him was that he needed a hair cut… but somehow the worst pick up line ever worked! We were then attached at the hip for the rest of the trip. We dated briefly back then but the timing wasn’t right. But, 13 years of friendship later we realized we had wanted to be with eachother all along! We took a leap, and it was the best leap of our lives!
