Travel
We recommend guests plan to arrive on Thursday or Friday, as our ceremony will begin early at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 18th. The closest airport is PDX, and from there Rockaway Beach is about a 1.5-hour drive. We suggest renting a car and coordinating with other guests if possible, as having a car will make the weekend much easier.
We would love to kick off the weekend with everyone at a casual welcome night on Fri, 7/17 around 7:30 PM at our beach house (333 S Pacific Street) for sunset drinks and a bonfire.
On 7/18, the ceremony will take place at St Marys Church at 1:15 PM and will last about an hour. We recommend heading to the reception venue at 3:00 PM (about a 20 min drive). Cocktail hour will begin at 3:30 PM, followed by dinner at 5:00 PM, with drinks and dancing until 11:00 PM.
For those without a car or who plan to fully enjoy the evening, we will have a bus available departing @ 3:00 PM—please reach out to reserve a spot.
