Our love story began well before we actually met each other. On November 19, 2022 Dan attended Sunday Mass at St. Catherine's for the first time in several years with his Grammy and Uncle Skip. Little did he know at the time that a girl named Lianne had also recently started attending regular church services in New York City. In that year, our faith continued to grow separately through the relationships we built in the church and the things we learned from the homilies every week. Our focus started to become clear on what we wanted in life and how God himself is the author of the Sacrament of Marriage. Almost exactly one year later, on November 30, 2023, we met each other outside the Plaza Hotel in New York for our first date - Ice Skating in Central Park followed by dinner in Lianne's new neighborhood on the Upper East Side. There was a Divine Providence to the night that truly felt magical. Our second date was few days later on a Sunday morning at Lianne's church in Brooklyn and our relationship has grown stronger every day since then. In the time since we have met, we have been on a wild journey which has included already moving 4 times, living in 3 different states and finally putting down our own roots (for now) in Houston, TX. Between our faith and the love we have for each other, we have never doubted the plans we have made together. We are so excited to come back to Connecticut for the wedding ceremony in the church that has meant so much for our relationship, followed by an amazing party with our closest family and friends later in the evening. We can't wait to see and celebrate with everyone!
