Faith is Lianna's favorite (and only!) younger sister. Lianna is thrilled to have her standing up as her maid of honor! She is an assistant manager at AM Coffee in Grafton, and is also an excellent adventure buddy. As Wes has gotten to know her, he has appreciated her humor, love of animals (especially her dog Beau), her excellent cooking, and artistic abilities!

Joe Venhuizen

Best Man

Joe is a senior coordinator for Envision Wisconsin out of Fon Du Lac, and also a great golfer! He and his wife Melissa have three rambunctious boys who are always down to play Candy Land (™). Joe himself is also an avid board game player. He may have been bested by Lianna at some point, and they are now formidable rivals! Wesley and Joe go all the way back to Dodge County and have seen each other growing through the years. Wesley is honored to have such a good-looking best man and is hoping to see some of Joe's well renowned (in Fon Du Lac) dance moves at the reception.

Lydia Weyker

One of Lianna's cousins, Lydia has an outgoing and fun-loving personality with a heart for others. She is in college studying to be a teacher, and is excited to make a difference for students. She is a kind soul who has time for everyone and is quick to offer an encouraging word. In addition to her affinity for decorating and DIY projects, she has an excellent eye for charcuterie arrangement too!

Calvin Brice

Groomsman

Calvin is Lianna's twin (evil twin, depending on who you listen to). He has been Lianna's partner in crime since day one, and she is definitely better for having grown up alongside him. Calvin is a mechanical engineer, and is welcoming a little baby girl with his wife Cora this December. His punny sense of humor and quick smile make him a great addition to any gathering. His wisdom and his love for God and for his family had a big influence on Lianna as she and Wes got to know each other.

Lily Weyker

Lily is another of Lianna's cousins, and is Lydia's younger sister. She is in high school, where she is active in choir and on the tennis team. Lily's kind spirit and sense of fun are things that Lianna appreciates about her! She is great with animals, enjoys spending time at the beach and being outside during the warmer months, and is a great friend!

Isaiah Brice

Groomsman

Isaiah is Lianna's youngest brother, and is a senior in high school. He works at Miba Industrial Bearings, and is exploring options for college. In his free time you might find him exploring his interest in cars, cooking, helping out at Good News Club for elementary students after school, spending time with friends or at youth group, or dominating at Fortnite! Wes has appreciated getting to spend time with him, citing his easygoing personality and abundance of memes as some of the highlights!

Tatiana Graves

Bridesmaid

Lianna and Tatiana (also known as Tash!) go way back. From playing chess on their homeschool chess team when they were little to running cross country and playing together, and eventually becoming fast friends in high school, they have never run out of things to do together. It has been so special to be a part of each other's weddings in this new phase of their friendship. Wes met Tash through an ultimate frisbee team years before he and Lianna started dating, and it has been fun for the three of them to spend time together!

Joseph Brice

Joseph is Lianna's younger brother, and is currently a sophomore at UW Milwaukee studying business. His quick sense of humor and his thoughtfulness are some of the qualities that make him a great addition to the wedding party, and Wes has enjoyed getting to spend time with him. He is also a compassionate friend, quick to spot when others are in need and to want to help. When he is not working on homework, you can find him hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing video games, or playing a mean game of dutch blitz on occasion!

Anna Cantrall

Bridesmaid

Anna is another homeschool friend that Lianna knew through cross country in fifth grade. It was in college that they really connected over shared loves of history, reading, food, adventures, faith, and more. Lianna is especially thankful for a trip to South Korea this past summer where the two of them were able to get out of their comfort zones and spend time deep in conversation as they ate delicious food and tried to figure out the subway system. Anna is a great friend and encourager!

Jory Kok

Mr. Jory Kok is Wesley's Fastenal representative. Mr. Kok and his wife Torre have three beautiful children that they are raising in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Jory is an accomplished pianist, guitarist, drummer and singer; and uses his talents as a Worship Leader at his church. Wesley has appreciated their friendship over the years and is honored to have him stand with him.

Robin Schmidtke

Bridesmaid

Robin and Lianna met through Open Door Bible Church. While they both knew of each other, it was not until Lianna began attending a young adults group that Robin led that the two of them were able to really connect. Robin's love for the Lord, her wisdom, and her down-to-earth and honest way of interacting with those around her made Lianna appreciate her friendship deeply. Robin met Wes through another young adults group (where Lianna and Wes would end up meeting later!) and knew that the two of them would end up married long before Lianna did!

Lynden Nugteren

Groomsman

Lynden and Wesley met in highschool and shared a creative passion for art and music. They often preformed in the class hallways; opting out of studying for quizzes and exams. As one of Wesley's musical contemporaries, Lynden taught a young Wesley how to play suspended chords on the guitar. In turn Wesley taught Lynden how to get rid of house mice. Lynden currently lives in Michigan with his wife Karen and their kids. He is a senior salesman for a wood burning supply company out of Michigan and does a fair amount of farming on the side.

Karis Strand

Violinist

Karis is a close family friend (her and Lianna's parents were friends in college) and she is almost like another cousin to Lianna. The two have shared a love of music for as long as they can remember, and their mutual love for God and for their families has made growing up together a blessing. It means the world to have her playing in Lianna and Wesley's wedding!

Naiza Gohr

Pianist

Naiza has been leading worship with Wesley at Wellspring Community Church for the last few years. Besides being a talented instrumentalist and vocalist, she is also involved in theatre and directs shows at the Schauer Arts Center. When not busy teaching music or performing, Naiza can be found spending time with her husband and son and two dogs. Wesley and Lianna are pretty sure she is also a real-life Disney princess.
