Maid of Honor
From the day Bri and I met as two little ballerinas in dance class we have been best friends, coining our signature phrase, "from tutus to graves". We have been there for each other through all of life's greatest moments, including being each other's maids of honor! Distance hasn't weakened our friendship, as we live 1,779 miles a part from Colorado to NYC. Bri is an exceptional baker of cookies and mother to the goodest wolf, Ghost.
Best Man
James and I met in middle school and have become close friends ever since. The two of us will never miss an opportunity to hang out, throw back a few beers, and be absolute nuisances to our significant others. James is an avid Rangers fan, Dunkin Coffee drinker, TikTok'er, and Diabetic. If I had to choose one person to bring to a fight, or if someone were to instigate a fight on my behalf, James would be front and center. Marisa is slightly concerned he's coming on our honeymoon.
Bridesmaid
Devon and I have been friends for almost as long as Matt and I have been a couple (roughly 10 years). You might also know her as the "Better Half" of Best Man - James Bodeker. You'll typically find us wherever the dogs are...whether that's on a hike, camping, or on a ghost tour. Devon is a lover of mozzarella cheese, tequila, and a good spooky story. Always excited for the next adventure with this one!
Groomsman
Alex and I became close friend my senior year at TCNJ when we llivd together at 20 Chesney Ave. While I have known Alex for the shortest amount of time relative to the other groomsmen, he is one of my best friends. He is a huge sports fan, the best softball player that Chesney Ave ever saw, the master of the Fios remote, an aficionado of good television, an absolute "YES" man, and the reigning Wade Boggs champion.
Bridesmaid
Emily was my first friend at Bucknell, and did I hit the jackpot or what?! I'm forever grateful to our moms for becoming friends while waiting on line for the Rooke Science Center bathroom and introducing us to each other. Dr. Bollinger is the ultimate dance parter, science wiz, and champion to those she loves. Yes, this is the same Emily Bollinger - local celebrity and It Girl of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Groomsman
Chris is my older brother of 3 years, has known me longer than any other member of the bridal party, and has always been a ride or die since day 1. Chris is exceptionally witty, a devout rule follower, an enthusiast of good Scotch, and has somehow convinced himself that he is our mother's favorite child. While Chris and I do not share many mutual hobbies, we both enjoy a nice glass of whiskey and a good steak.
Bridesmaid
When I was a child, all I wanted to be when I grew up was just like my cousin Lauren! Lauren was there for me through it all, from helping me through the trauma of discovering the truth about Santa (and gluten), to navigating the Providence, RI watering holes. Health and wellness inspiration, creative genius, fitness goals, and Super Mom, Lauren does it all! We should ALL aspire to grown up to be like Lauren!
Groomsman
Ian and I were friends in high school, but we did not become close friends until he transferred to TCNJ, where he was my roommate and housemate for 3 years. Ian has seen me at my best, my worst, and is probably the person I saw most during my college years. Ian is a passionate outdoorsman - whether it be camping, hiking, snowboarding, splitting logs with an axe, or growing a mustache, Ian can compete with most full-blown Dads at the mere age of 27.
Bridesmaid
Madeline Frischman: National Treasure (Nick Cage, stay in your lane). Maddie is the truest and kindest soul I know. Meeting as freshmen in college, bonding over our converse sneakers, we became instantly inseparable. Get you a friend who will always be down to get spiced chai lattes, split a vegetarian feast, dance our hearts out, and stay up all night in the library with. Maddie is an avid marathon runner (yes, she runs for fun), master chef, yogi, and Golden Retriever whisperer.
Groomsman
Matt 1 of 3 (alphabetical) - Matt D was one of the first people I met on my freshman floor at TCNJ and a fellow classmate in our infamous freshman seminar class. He is a religious fisherman, strong outdoorsman, and a spitting image of his father Glenn. Matt will probably read this bio in 2023 when he finds his flip phone from under the couch and trades it in for an iPhone.
Bridesmaid
Is it Scorpio Season?! Noelle and I met while working in the same lab group at Brown University (we love women in STEM)! Our professional relationship quickly escalated to the strongest of friendships, and best roommate alliance. Catch us traveling Europe, buying new houseplants, taking a barre class, or picnic grazing in the park. Quite possibly the best thing to come from Florida, Noelle is a master needlepoint artist, human rights and environmental activist, lover of plants and Thomas Bagels.
Groomsman
Matt 2 of 3 - I have known Matt Kotch since my earlier days at Taunton Elementary School. Kotch and I became close friends in high school and co-workers at the former Howell, NJ institution known as Sports Exchange. Kotch was instrumental in my relationship with Marisa as he helped me muster up the courage to ask her out on a date. Matt Kotch is a Mets fan (lol), a Jets fan (lol), and a Red Wings fan (I really can't make this up), and single/ready to mingle (@bridesmaids).
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I met our freshmen year at Bucknell. Sarah grows love and community wherever she is, and I'm not just talking about her gardening skills. Always down for a reunion, accompanied by her drone, Sarah is the most joyous and inclusive person I know! You might find Sarah hiking through a National Park, visiting her old home on the Island of Eleuthera, snuggling her cats, or saving the world.
Groomsman
Matt 3 of 3 - Matt Marnell is one of my best friends, the sleepiest man awake, and quite possibly the man who put Hillsborough, NJ on the map. Marnell and I met freshman year at TCNJ as he was always the strange guy lurking on our freshman floor with Matt Domitrowski (Matt 1 of 3) and looking to get in a game of Paper Mario. He has always been a voice of reason and a person I look to for advice in times of crisis (Yes, I am being serious). Marnell is a die-hard Patriots fan (pre/post Tom Brady), a rugby enthusiast, a lover of cats, and a fluent Spanish speaker.
Bridesmaid
"Do you want to share a piece of cake?", these were the first words Su Yin said to me as she cut us a giant slice of chocolate cake, and I knew right then and there it was love at first sight. The sister I've always wanted! Su Yin is the newest addition to our growing family, and I speak for us all when I sing her praises from the rooftops! I love our time together spent crafting, cooking, or snuggled up on the couch for a good movie! A woman of many skills, Su Yin is an aficionado of bubble tea, avid reader, TikTok champion, and math wiz.
Man of Honor
When it comes to Michael Patti, we both wanted him standing on our side! From "womb-mates to room-mates", the bride's twin brother has been there for it all! Michael is a Mets fan, Karaoke enthusiast, fantasy football champion, and certified night owl. You can typically find Michael breaking arcade basketball records, mastering the latest tech gadget, and if you're lucky - out of bed before 10am. We cannot wait to share the next chapters of our lives together, including the very exciting (and much anticipated) union of Michael and Su Yin!
