Wissahickon Valley Park/ Parque de Wissahickon
For people that enjoy hiking, walking, and time outside, we recommend Wissahickon. You can park in the large parking lot at the Blue Bell Hill Park entrance, and then connect onto hiking trails or enjoy the picnic areas. Alex and I had our first date here, and got engaged here! Para las personas que disfrutan el senderismo y pasar tiempo afuera, recomendamos el Parque de Wissahickon. Se pueden estacionar en el estacionamiento de Blue Bell Hill Park, y de ahí pueden conectar a los caminos para senderismo o las áreas de picnic. ¡Alex y yo tuvimos nuestra primera cita aquí, y nos comprometimos aquí también!
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens/ Jardines Mágicos de Filadelfia
Magic Gardens is in South Philly, and it’s an entire house and grounds that has been converted into a mosaic masterpiece by the local Philly artist who lived there. It’s a fun and unique place to visit! Magic Gardens queda al sur de Filadelfia y es una casa y patio que han sido convertidos en una obra de mosaicos por el artista local que vivía ahí. Schuylkill River Trail/ Sendero del Rio Schuylkill
The River Trail follows the Schuylkill River into the city. We love walking this trail and recommend starting along Boathouse Row and then walking the trail towards the Art Museum. This indoor market spans multiple city blocks and has countless vendors of every food you can imagine. This is a great place to enjoy a Philly Cheesesteak!
