It all began when we met through friends at the park as teenagers. Not long after, Emerson joined the same high school as Liane, and what started as a simple friendship quickly grew into something special. On November 3rd, 2011, our friendship turned into something more, and we officially began dating. Like many young couples, we grew up side by side — learning about life, supporting each other through the ups and downs of school, and slowly building a relationship that would stand the test of time. What started as a high school romance soon became something much deeper: a partnership, a friendship, and a love that continued to grow year after year. As the years passed, we created countless memories together. We traveled, laughed, celebrated milestones, and discovered what it meant to build a life as a team. Through every new chapter, one thing remained constant and for certain : we always had each other. In 2021, our little family grew when we welcomed our dog, Milan. He quickly became the heart of our home, joining us on walks, adventures, and cozy nights in. Milan added even more joy, laughter, and love to our lives that we could've ever imagined. In July 2023, we moved into our very first apartment together. It was the beginning of a new chapter — creating a space that was truly our own, filled with shared routines, late-night conversations, dreams for the future and so much more. On August 9th, 2024, Emerson asked Liane the most important question, and she said yes (obviously). It was a moment that reflected everything we had built together since we were teenagers — years of love, growth, memories, and unwavering commitment. Now, on August 9th, 2027, exactly three years after our engagement, we will say “I do” and begin our forever as husband and wife. From high school sweethearts to lifelong partners, our story is growing up together, choosing each other every day, and building a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. This is only the beginning.
