What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal; tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Greece is very hot in the summer months with dry weather (no humidity!)

Please kindly note that the wedding is an adult-only reception.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels near our venue, which is in the Southern region of Athens. However, Airbnbs are a great and affordable option as well! If you choose to rent a car (or are comfortable Ubering), there are awesome Airbnb options located in central Athens. Please view our travel note for more information.

What’s a koumbaro and koumbara?

Answer

Think of it as the Greek version of a Maid of Honor and Best Man. They serve as witnesses to the marriage in the Greek Orthodox faith.
