We’re getting married!

one night liana walked into a party at utah state university and saw this man across the room. she turned to her friend and said “that is the most attractive guy i have ever seen”. they made eye contact and for a few hours would share over the shoulder glances from across the room. always seeming to find each other’s gaze. after a few hours the guy walked up to her, told her his name was kellan and asked if she’d like to go for a walk with him. she knew instantly this man was someone special.

on this day liana and kellan were headed up to logan, ut for a vintage market that they had gone to a few times in the past. after having a really special day looking at all the booths, having sourdough pizza and picking out future baby clothes, they went up to their old college campus. they walked around the grounds reminiscent of their memories all around. where they first met and their very quick first kiss, where liana lived on campus and where they had some of their very first dates. particularly at the overlook just past old main. once upon a time they went hammocking on a sunday afternoon. the first time they would spend real time together. 4 years later, they laid in the sun feeling the culmination of all of their sweet memories together all at once. they looked at eachother and could feel it. liana joked that she would beat kellan to the question. he asked her to marry him and she wept. tears of uncontainable joy. it was incredibly spontaneous but deeply meaningful.
