Airport to Golden by Light Rail

Visitors can travel from Denver International Airport to Golden via the University of Colorado A Line ("A Line") and the West Rail Line ("W line"). The A Line will first take you to Denver Union Station, where you can then transfer to the W Line. The W Line between Denver Union Station and Golden passes through a number fare zones so we recommend that you purchase the Regional/Airport Day Pass, which will allow you to move through all of the zones. If you choose this option, just follow the signs for public transportation at airport, go down the escalator, and purchase a pass at one of the ticket machines. Once you arrive in Golden on the W Line, we recommend catching an Uber or Lyft to get into downtown Golden. For reference, The Golden Hotel is 2.9 miles away from the Golden Light Rail station.
