Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal. Think cocktail attire—suits or jackets, and dresses or dressy jumpsuits. No need for tuxes or gowns, but please dress to celebrate!

Will there be parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony parking will be available in the parking lot located west of the church at the corner of Sunnyside and Western. Street parking is also available along Welles Park on Western Ave and Sunnyside Ave. Reception parking will be available in the parking lot on the north side of the Heritage center.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Your will invitation will include an RSVP link where you will have a section to specify any food allergies.

Will the event be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held inside! Queen of Angels does not have air conditioning, so please bring a fan if you run hot!

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone we love, but due to space and planning, we’re only able to include those specifically named on the invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time listed on your invitation to make sure you’re settled and ready when we walk down the aisle!

Where should we go after the reception?

Answer

The celebration doesn’t have to end when the music stops! The Fifth Province, the pub located on the first floor of the Irish American Heritage Center, will be open until 1:00 a.m. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, hang out, and keep the party going!
