We met in August 2023 at the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy. Soli sat right in front of me in class, and while we were friendly, we never talked much beyond quick hellos. That changed during the summer after our first year. Soli asked me to drive her back to Johnson City from Atlanta, and I said yes. What started as a simple road trip turned into five hours of easy conversation, laughter, and connection. By the time we made it back, something between us had clearly changed. After that day, we started spending more time together—studying, texting, and hanging out whenever we could. Our first real date was a study session at the college followed by a movie night at my apartment. It felt natural and comfortable, like something that was meant to be. On September 8th, 2024, we made it official. Since then, our relationship has grown in ways we could have never planned. We’ve learned what it means to love selflessly, to put each other first, and to trust that God had a hand in bringing us together at just the right time. What started with a car ride has become one of the greatest blessings of our lives, and we can’t wait to see where this journey leads next.
