Karsyn and I met at one of the first events I went to for our campus ministry back at UCF. I gazed across the room, seen that wavy brown hair, and I knew I had to go and talk to her. After meeting Karsyn, I realized she was my soulmate almost immediately. I had never met a girl who loved all the things I loved but also someone who loved the Lord as much as she did. On October 4th, 2023, we went on our first date to Trader Joes, our favorite grocery store. She then convinced me to come to a retreat for our campus ministry. After that, let's just say I was ready to conquer the world with her. However, the Lord works in amazing and mysterious ways. We actually ended up remaining friends after the retreat, but this is just the beginning of our story. What we thought was a "no", was actually just the best ever "not yet" from God. After 14 months of slowly getting close again, on December 19th, 2024, I heard from God to reach back out to her... and the rest is history. On January 2nd, 2025, we went on our actual first date, which entailed disc golfing and Woodpeckers Barbecue. On January 10th, we officially started dating and each day since we have experienced the amazing gift of a relationship that only happened because of God and His goodness. On February 7th, 2026, I asked Karsyn to marry me, and as you all know, she said yes. As we look back at all God has done in our relationship and look into the future for the life He has set before us, we are eternally grateful for Him and for all the people in our lives who love and care for us. We can't wait for you to join us in celebration on October 4th, 2026!
