Wait, didn't you already get married? Is this a reception?

Answer

Yes. We were married in an intimate elopement at Secret Cove in Lake Tahoe, no big crowd. This celebration is our way of gathering everyone we love to share in the joy. Think of tonight less as a formal reception and more as a celebration dinner. No ceremony, no bouquet toss, no rigid timeline. Just great food, flowing drinks, music & dancing, and a room full of people we care about, all enjoying the night together.

Warm, lively, and effortless vibrant, with an elevated edge. Inspired by our favorite nights in Europe. Think long tables, wine and cocktails, shared plates, great playlists, dancing, and everyone lingering a little longer than planned. Low pressure, high energy, and very much about being together.

Cocktail to formal, with a refined, celebratory feel (e.g. an elevated yet effortless interpretation of formal style). Ladies: Midi or floor-length dresses or elevated cocktail attire. Gentlemen: Dark suit or tailored dress pants with a button‑down shirt. A tie or bow tie encouraged. To keep the focus on the couple, please reframe from wearing white.

Your presence is more than enough. But if you'd like, we've added a couple travel and home funds to our registry linked on the invitation.

Are dates / kids allowed?

Answer

If your invitation has a "+1", then yes, feel free to bring a partner. If children are not explicitly mentioned on your invite, we kindly ask that you do not bring kids (so we can keep things relaxed and manageable).

What is the best place to park?

Underground garage directly beneath SER SER is located at 1110 N. Glebe Road, and there is underground parking directly below the building. Entrance is on N. Glebe Road (not 11th Street) Parking is $4 with validation, good for up to 3 hours Bring your parking ticket to the host stand for validation This is by far the easiest option and what most guests should use

The closet hotel is the Westin Arlington. We are also happy to share a few additional nearby hotels if needed!
