We're getting married!

Our story begins in July of 2022, when Jae decided to travel to Colorado to see her favorite musician at Red Rocks. On this trip, Jae traveled solo to Mount Blue Sky, Red Rocks and spent two days in Rocky Mountain National Park. After the second day in RMNP, she decided to commemorate the trip by driving into Boulder, CO, to get her ears pierced and have a way to always remember this special trip (little did she know, she'd get an even better souvenir). During this time, Jae and Liam were both on Bumble, the dating app and happened to match! Jae left the next day but continued chatting with Liam when she returned to Minnesota. After a month of texting paragraphs back and forth and hours of FaceTime and phone calls, Jae was going on another trip to Washington to see another artist and embark on another adventure. Liam had some time off before beginning his next semester of school, so Jae anxiously invited him to meet her in Washington, after all, they had to meet at some point! To her surprise, Liam agreed, and they both anxiously hoped that the person they were going to meet was indeed the one they had both developed feelings for. As they both shared locations with family and friends, the day finally arrived (August 19, 2022) where they met for the first time in Seattle, WA! Their first date was at Target, gathering snacks for our upcoming adventures, which included the Seattle Pier, Space Needle, Olympic National Park, North Cascades National Park, and Mount Rainier. When it was time to split ways, they both recognized how difficult this path of long distance was going to be as they discovered they had each found their person. They traveled back and forth from Colorado to Minnesota until Liam eventually moved in with Jae as she finished her degree and the adventures have continued ever since!
