Question

Is there a nearby town to get things like snacks and extra drinks etc?

Answer

Yes, there is a town called Poggibonsi. It is 10KM away so a 20min drive from the venue, it has various supermarkets there. This would only be accessible to those that are hiring cars for their stay - if you don't have a hire car we suggest taking these things with you or buying at the airport (or ask someone with a hire car nicely to give you a run to the shops!). There is also the option to book a taxi yourself but this needs to be organised well in advance as with the venue being rural they won't be accessible on demand.

Is there anything specific we need to bring with us?

Answer

Since the venue is up in the hills and surrounded by nature we know that mosquitos and hayfever can be an issue, so we recommend bringing bug spray and hayfever tablets if you are prone to these! We also recommend bringing Type L (3 prong) euro or universal plug adaptors as these are more commonly used in Italy as opposed to the usual Type C & F which has 2 prongs.

Question

Are other refreshments or meals provided other than what is already listed in the events section?

Answer

We will be ordering soft drinks, water, beer, fruit juice & milk for everyone to help themselves to - however teabags and ground coffee will not be provided so we recommend taking with you if needed. On Tuesday and Wednesday we will have breakfast pastries and sandwiches delivered for in between the events since dinner is provided for the duration of your stay.
