Bakeri
Just down the block from Teddy's, Bakeri is one of our favorite spots with fresh bread, pastries, coffee, and breakfast/lunch options. There's also a small courtyard in the back.
Sweetwater
One of our favorite local restaurants for dinner - both the specials and the regular menu are great. They have outdoor seating out front and in the back courtyard.
Kent Ale House
If there's a sports game on, you can find us at Kent. Great staff, plenty of TV's, large beer list + pub food. They have plenty of outdoor seating.
Spritzenhaus33
This is where we celebrated Liam's 40th birthday! A chill beer hall with a large tap list, lots of indoor/outdoor tables, friendly staff, and brats/pretzels.
Marsha P. Johnson State Park
If you want to get an unobstructed view of Manhattan head over to MPJ and Bushwick Inlet park. Renovations are completed! You can enter the park through any open entrance along Kent Avenue. Also, if you walk along N 7th St towards East River you'll find a pier with lots of seating just behind the apartment complex.
McCarren Park
McCarren is definitely a city park! There's always a lot going on. Great for a walk or picnic.
Rocka Rolla
We haven't been here in awhile but we had to include the bar where we met! Be a true basic brooklynite and order the coffee thing or a giant margarita. There's a small backyard if you need a break from the divey atmosphere.
Greenpoint Beach
Sorry it's not actually a beach - but it is where we got engaged!
