Atty and Liam first met at Kenai Peninsula College January 2018. Liam switched to Atty's Anatomy and Physiology Lab time and they sat together all semester. They became good friends during this time. Liam didn't have social media and after anatomy ended they lost touch until a year later. Liam was working at Sportsman's Warehouse and Atty came in with her cousin, Becca. Atty recognized him from class and went to say hello. He mixed up a digit when writing down her number so never got a response from texting her, and life went on. Almost another year later, Attison returned early from her adventure in Australia due to Covid. Atty, not scheduled to work at the coffee shop one day, dropped by her work. Liam took an unplanned run to get grumpy Jaron a smoothie and bagel. Pulling into the line, Liam realized it was Atty as she disappeared inside. Her co-worker was busy so Atty attended to the drive-thru window to help out out and thats when they reconnected. A couple days later Atty invited him to play spikeball with a young adult group. After those small encounters, they started doing a lot of activities together with friends like hiking, camping, and swimming. Liam finally asked Atty to be his girlfriend and of course she said yes. Since then they have played more spikeball as well as a road tripping from Arizona to Alaska! The proposal date was December 22nd. Liam and Jaron bought fireworks from outside Wasilla 3 weeks in advance. Then Liam had to suffer, waiting for the ring to be cast and the diamond set! It was an extremely exciting time! When the ring had arrived plans were made. Finally the day was at hand and Atty and Liam took a drive towards Homer. On the way back they stopped at Clam Gulch, where they first hammocked together. At the set time Jaron lit the fireworks as Atty and Liam stood on the bluff up top watching the ocean. Then Liam bent the knee as the first explosion split the air and a very surprised Fiancee said YES!
