The best airport to fly into is Melbourne Tullamarine (MEL). Liam will be happy to assist any overseas and interstate guests with their bookings. We recommend booking as early as possible to get the best rates, due to the close proximity to Christmas time. For our overseas guests, we understand you may like to wait until nearer to the date to make your plans due to the evolving situation regarding Covid19. If you have any questions regarding this please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
Travel Note
The Yarra Valley is approximately a 1 hour drive from Melbourne CBD. If you do not have anywhere to be on Friday, we recommend booking somewhere to stay for the evening. There are many accommodation options in the Yarra Valley including hotels and private rentals. If you would like some assistance in booking somewhere to stay for the evening, please get in touch with us. We have reserved some rooms at two nearby properties and the details are below.
Shuttle

We have arranged a shuttle service for those staying within close proximity to the venue. Once you have booked your accommodation, please let us know the name and location so that we can see if you can be accommodated on the shuttle. Once the total numbers are finalized you will receive information regarding pick up and drop off times.

The Brady Hotel has kindly offered a discounted rate for our guests who wish to spend some time in the city while they are in Melbourne. If you would like to book a room, please go to the hotel website, select the hotel location that you prefer and use the discount code.

Hotel
We have reserved some standard rooms at Balgownie Estate which is a few minutes away from Immerse. They are available on a first in basis at $192 per night, and Balgownie will offer a 10% discount for anyone staying 2 or more nights. Call the reservations team and advise that you are part of the wedding group booking for Alex Havakis and Liam Hawkes. If you would prefer a higher room type just let the staff know when you call to make your booking and they will arrange this for you instead.
Hotel
We have reserved some queen rooms at the De'Vine Escape which is located across the road from Immerse*. The rooms are available on a first in basis. They offer a 10% discount for a one night stay, and a 20% discount for a two night stay. The queen rooms are $144 per night (for two guests on a Thursday night) with a spa room upgrade available for an extra $25, as well as triple and quad rooms on a request basis. You can add extra guests to the triple and quad rooms for $30pp. Please call the property and advise you are part of the wedding group booking for Alex Havakis and Liam Hawkes to make your booking. *We do not recommend walking between properties as there is a long gravel road off the highway to get to the De'Vine Escape. You can utilise the shuttle bus so please let us know if you'd like to and we can arrange this for you.
