Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lia Anastasia Gagianas and Zachary Edward Moore
Pittsburgh is a great city! Obviously we're biased, but we think yinz will love it too! Below are some recommendations on activities, places, and restaurants for you to check out while you are in town for our wedding. Make a weekend of it!

Carnegie Museum of Art

4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

You can access the museum the day of our wedding FOR FREE by saying you are a guest of the Moore/Gagianas wedding. If you choose to go another day, tickets are $25/pp!

The Strip District

2549 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

You're a true "yinzer" here! The Strip District is home to a large assortment of international grocery stores and retailers, boutique shops, independent merchants, and several of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh (many of which feature international cuisine as well). There is so much to do and you simply can't go wrong here!

Market Square

24 Market Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Take a stroll through Pittsburgh's Market Square to enjoy Christmas shops, restaurants, and so much more. View our city’s Christmas tree, go iceskating, or visit the famous "Miracle on 6th" Christmas bar around the corner!

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Phipps is one of the largest greenhouses in the United States. The holiday season is not complete without a visit to Phipps "Holiday Magic" for festive displays and lighted gardens! With a whimsical theme of “Enchantment”, guests are sure to be captivated by a forest of fantasy. Phipps has pulled out all the stops for this year's Winter Flower Show with magnificent new displays featuring mystical creatures, gorgeous holiday trees and their signature floral delights, including amaryllis, orchids and 21 varieties of poinsettias. We suggest booking your tickets early, as it sells out quickly around the Holiday season.

Downtown Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA 15222

From visiting the Point State Park fountain where the iconic three rivers meet to eating your way around the city - Downtown Pittsburgh offers it all. Pamela's Diner and The Specked Egg are some iconic breakfast places downtown. Some of our favorite dinner/drinks spots include Sienna Mercato Rooftop, The Ritual House, Bridges & Bourbon, Täkō, Nicky's Thai Kitchen, Gaucho Parrilla Argentina, and Con Alma. You won't be disappointed!

Duquesne Incline

1197 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

There are two inclines that go up the side of Mount Washington and overlook Downtown Pittsburgh. Enjoy a spectacular panorama of Pittsburgh and its three rivers!
