Good friends and fellow travelers, In the Catskill Mountains there lies a quiet woodland place called Living Stone—a clearing among old trees, where moss softens the forest floor and water finds its way patiently through rock and stream. It is there, beneath those hills and beside a woodland waterfall, that we have chosen to gather. For one autumn weekend, the many circles of our lives—family, friends, and the communities that have shaped us—will come together in that forest clearing, not only to witness a marriage, but to share in that rarer delight: time unhurried, good company, wandering paths beneath the trees, and the happy noise that comes when many people who care for one another find themselves together in the same place.
