We met on Hinge (online dating) right before the pandemic hit. We finally nailed down a date to meet and had out first date at a local coffee shop. We shared our first kiss on our third date in Philly and the rest is history.

Lia and Brendon have always shared a love of escape rooms and Brendon thought it would be a neat idea to incorporate one in this journey. Well....Lia ruined it and figured out the date, but the element of surprise was still left in the air as to how Brendon would plan out the day. With the help of their friends, GraceLi and Chris, Brendon took Lia to Olde City Escape Games and they ran through the escape room like any normal game. Towards the end of the escape, a lever was to be pulled to reveal a newspaper, but out popped a piece of paper with the words "Will you marry me?" She turned around with Brendon on one knee and she said "YES!" The day ended surrounded by family and friends showering a newly engaged couple with love and affection. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
