FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The City Club at Gibson Mill 325 McGill Ave NW Suite 150, Concord, NC, 28027

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will promptly begin at 5 PM, so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to ensure you don't miss anything. This allows time to find parking, sign our guestbook, and find a seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, please discreetly make your way in and quietly find a seat in the back!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 31, 2025. If you do not RSVP by October 31st, we will be unable to accommodate you at our wedding. We need to provide the venue and caterer with final numbers within a timely manner, and we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, their name will appear with yours when you RSVP. We ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, unless they were mentioned on your invitation/RSVP, we will not be able to accommodate them.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The venue is fully indoor, so please dress appropriately. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be happening within the same venue room.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love for all of our guests to be dressed up for the big day! Dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing sweatshirts, jeans, and shades of white. The venue is inside only.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, to an extent. All beer and wine is on us. However, liquor is a cash bar. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a lot in front of the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones/electronics be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us. Luckily, we will have a professional photographer on site, capturing the best pictures which we will share with everyone after the big day. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like, but don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding.

Question

If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

If you check out the "travel" subcategory, you'll find a few of the hotels we recommend in the area. They are all within a short drive to our venue, welcome party, and other things to do throughout your stay. Additionally, we have a 10 room hotel block at the Homewood Suites in Concord.
