FAQs

Question

How do guests RSVP?

Answer

Please either return the RSVP located in the invitations, or use this website to select that you will be attending. When using this website, make sure you RSVP for BOTH the ceremony and reception. Each requires a response. For the mailed invitations, we will just assume you are RSVPing for both events. We recommend completing both physical and digital RSVPs for confirmation, in case something gets lost in the mail.

Question

COVID-19

Answer

We are communicating FREQUENTLY with our venue and vendors. We will provide any and all updates through this website.

Question

How close are the ceremony and venue locations to one another?

Answer

The church and the reception venue are located within 5 minutes (really less) of each other in Berryville, Virginia.

Question

How far are the hotels from the ceremony/venue?

Answer

Both hotels are between 15-20 minutes from the ceremony/venue.

Question

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We respectfully ask that children be left at home. This is an adult only ceremony and reception.

Question

How are gifts being handled?

In lieu of a boxed gift, we prefer the Polish custom of an enveloped contribution, to be used towards our honeymoon and new life together. This can be done in person at the ceremony or our virtual registry can be accessed through this wedding website.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Question

Will shuttles be provided?

Answer

We are working on getting shuttle service to transport our hotel guests to and from the wedding venue. We ask those who will be staying in our blocked hotels to make reservations as soon as possible in order for us to be able to accommodate all hotel guests who wish to use the shuttle service.

Question

Can guests bring alcohol to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely not. Plenty of alcohol will be provided at the reception. We ask guests to respect this, as the alcohol license is in our names, and we are held responsible for all alcohol at the reception.

Question

Can outside food be brought to the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely not! Don't worry, we will not let you leave hungry. There will be more than enough food/snacks provided.

Question

Are the cocktail hour and dinner at the same location?

Answer

Yes. The cocktail hour will be located on the covered porch of the barn. The seated dinner will be located inside the barn.

Question

What are the local airports?

Answer

There are three airports that could be used for guests requiring flights: Dulles (IAD), Reagan (DCA), and Baltimore (BWI),
