We met in Kindergarten! We were friends through elementary school, but went our separate ways in middle school. We reconnected through Instagram and we have been inseparable ever since!

We had been planning a trip to Sequoia National Park. We have decided to make it a tradition that we take a big camping trip every six months. The weather was perfect in September and since school was back in session, the tourists had mostly left. We took a two mile hike out to a scenic rock face. I had no idea what was going to happen! We took our backpacks off and sat down and he told me to get a picture of the view. As I put my phone up to snag a quick picture he put the ring in front of my phone. I was confused and thought he was trying to be funny and mess up my picture. But I lowered my phone and there was the ring. "Will you marry me?" He was so nervous and of course I said yes!
