Sam and Leyla met in their Global Marketing class at Pepperdine School of Business in Fall of 2017. Leyla was interested in Sam and tried speaking to him several times during class breaks. Although Leyla thought she was flirting well, Sam was sure that Leyla was not fond of him. The following semester, at Pepperdine they were in the same Business Strategy class. On the first day of class, Sam sat next to Leyla and Leyla asked Sam if he was interested in joining her group for the class presentation. Sam immediately said yes.
