The Wedding Website of Lexy Felton and Colin Winter
Question

What is the attire for the wedding and reception?

Answer

The attire is cocktail/semi-formal. Please dress to impress and no jeans, shorts, or sundresses. The bride will be in white and we highly recommend staying away from anything with white, ivory, and champagne in it as those are typically reserved for the bride. The wedding party will be in gray/silver.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to the ceremony. Remember it is Mile of Music this weekend so give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the church. Anyone who arrives after the processional has begun will be asked to wait outside the ceremony room until it is over so you not disrupt.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired an AMAZING team that does both photography and videography to capture our day. We ask that you please refrain from snapping pictures during the ceremony to enjoy the moment, allow all guests to have a good view, and allow our hired professionals to do their thing! Pictures are more than welcome after the ceremony. We can wait to share all that they capture with everyone after the ceremony.

Question

Do you have a hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes we do! We have reserved a hotel block at the Double Tree in Neenah located across the parking lot from venue. Please call or use the link below to reserve your hotel room. We do recommend booking the hotel sooner than later. The Mile of Music schedule was released, and it is the weekend of July 31st-August 3rd. Many Mile of Music fans stay in the Fox Valley area during this weekend, which could cause the hotel to fill up sooner than usual. Answer

Since the hotel is located across the parking lot we will not be providing shuttles.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

The Ballroom At The Reserve will be supplying beer, seltzers, wine, and assorted mix drinks and will have bartending services to handle the beverages. Due to the venue policy and regulations, they ask that you do not bring outside alcoholic beverages into the venue. If you decide to consume alcohol, please drink responsibly.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless otherwise discussed, the invitations disclose the sole guests invited. Our dream wedding is a small, intimate wedding where we have enough time to celebrate with all our closest friends and family.

Question

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

As much as we love your children the ceremony and reception will be adults only due to the limited capacity.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, both the church and the reception have parking. There is a parking lot at the church, and a parking lot and street parking surrounding the reception site. The link below shows where parking is located around the venue site. Answer

The ceremony will be held within the church. The reception venue is enclosed and on the third floor of the building. Both the church and reception have A/C. Please dress accordingly.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes. This is the weekend of Mile of Music. One of the most popular weekends in Appleton. It is held on College Avenue a few blocks away from the church. Here there are hundreds of different performers and live entertainment at local establishments. Due to this event, we advise everyone to leave more than enough time when traveling to and from the church.
