In 2013, right in the heart of UC Davis, fate intervened as Lexy was introduced to Anthony through a mutual friend. Anthony helped tutor Lexy late into the night before an Organic Chemistry final, while Lexy helped distract Anthony from his hectic schedule by planning picnics in the arboretum or visiting the Animal Science cows and goats on campus.
