Emma is Lexy's dear sister who is only 6 years younger and the second oldest of 5. She is currently in Paramedic school. Lexy and Emma used to fight incessantly - but they are truly best friends now. They used to get in trouble for fighting, but now they get in trouble for conniving and being too silly together. Lexy deeply admires Emma's fortitude and strong will - she is the most compassionate and caring towards those who don't feel seen or cared for.

Jacob and Adam met at Mount Carmel Ministries in June of 2021. It was like a light switch of immediate friendship. Jacob is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet. He's witty, smart, an AMAZING piano player, and extremely down to earth. Although they live more than two thousand miles away from each other, and in different countries, the friendship hasn't changed a bit. Jacob currently lives in Alberta, Canada, and is married to his wonderful wife, Bailey, with a dog and a cat.

Lexy and Taylor have been friends going on 6 years when they first met at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho to go on a walk - they've been kindred spirits ever since! No matter of time or distance has ever gotten in their way of staying in touch. Taylor is a true testament of a godly, faithful and encouraging friend.

Steven is Adam oldest brother by a four year age difference, with a Paul in-between the two. Steven and Adam have shared a lot of life together post Adam graduating high school. This includes but is not limited to; working at youth retreats, family camps, christian music festivals, lots of roadtrips across the US, hundreds of rounds of disc golf, and even more Jersey Mikes sandwiches.

Lexy and Annette got to live together for two years through their mutual jobs at Camp-of-the-Woods and first bonded talking about the Bible in their kitchen - since then they have been besties. Annette is currently pursuing her Paramedic dreams; and is the sole reason Lexy got into EMS. If they aren't talking about the Bible or EMS, its normally about food.
Jonathan Badorf

Jonathan and Adam met in January of 2025 at Camp-of-the-Woods, where they both currently work, and currently live in the same house! In Adam's words, Jonathan has been a true God-send of a friend to begin his time in New York. With a shared appreciation of the Ford Focus, driving manual, and simply being outside, their friendship is something Adam truly cherishes. Jonathan is one of the most servant-hearted and thoughtful people Adam knows.

Not many people have the joy and privilege to say they got to live and work with one of their best friends, but that is certainly true of Mickey. Lexy and Mickey lived together for over a year and braved the many struggles of the kitchen together through much laughter. Mickey's faith has always been a great source of inspiration and encouragement and Lexy has joyfully watched Mickey travel the World sharing her love of Jesus.

Robert met Adam when they were both going to College of DuPage for their Automotive Service Technology degree. Robert (call him Rob) is one of the main reasons (outside of the Lord) that Adam is in New York. You could say if Rob and Adam never met, Lexy and Adam wouldn't be getting married! I'd say that's pretty significant if you ask me.

Lexy and Tivoli met through their mutual church in NY. Tivoli is the cool older sister Lexy never got to have. They have yet to run out of interesting topics to discuss and share a love for all things tasty. Tivoli is one of the kindest, selflessly generous, and most hospitable people Lexy knows. Not only does Tivoli have the cutest baby ever, but she helped Lexy find her wedding dress.
Matthew Johnson

Matthew and Adam met in the summer of 2019 at Mount Carmel Ministries when both of them were there as campers. Both then worked at Mount Carmel the next year as camp counselors and have continued their friendship since! Between 2019 and 2026, there were many trips to see each other in Iowa and Minnesota. Both Matthew and Adam share a love for ultimate frisbee (even though one of them is a professional, and it's the one without a mustache).

Beth is Lexy's sister and at 12 years old is 15 years younger; she is number 4 out 5 siblings. Beth is one of the most creative and artsy people Lexy knows - her paper dolls and yarn work are legendary. Beth is quite the fashionista and is one of the only sisters who will let Lexy do her hair.
Luke Alderman

Luke and Adam met in November of 2025 when Adam came to Texas to meet Lexy's family during Thanksgiving. Although they haven't had much life shared, but there's a whole lot more coming as brothers-in-law! Luke is smart, and quick witted. He'll tell you the best facts and is eager to work with his hands in any capacity. Adam and Luke get to gain what the other doesn't have; a younger brother and an older brother!

Paige at 7 years old is Lexy's youngest sister with an impressive 20-year age gap - Many a grocery store employee has thought Paige was Lexy's daughter (Paige and Lexy like to keep it that way though). Paige loves Legos and saying the funniest out of pocket comments - Lexy hopes to be as cool and smart as Paige one day.
