Travel information for Lexxi & Todd’s wedding

The closest airport is SEATAC, which is 40 miles away and takes about an hour to 2.5 hours to get to Gig Harbor depending on time of day and traffic. There are multiple rental car options at SeaTac. We recommend people coordinate if possible, to reduce the number of rental cars. If you want us to help you coordinate cars or lodging with another guest, please let us know. There is a 1 way toll on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge from Gig Harbor back to Tacoma. It is $5.50 cash, or $6.50 pay by mail each time you leave Gig Harbor. If you are coming early to visit Seattle before the wedding, please consider staying on the Tacoma side for some or all of your visit. There are a handful of hotels in Gig Harbor, and many in Tacoma. The lodging in Tacoma has a much broader price range with some less expensive choices. We also recommend looking at VRBO, and AirBnB for lodging either in Gig Harbor or Tacoma. There are a few really interesting choices, such as lodging in a sailboat with 2 bedrooms and a full bath. We do not have a room block, since we have guests coming for varying lengths of time to combine a visit to the Pacific Northwest with attending our wedding.
