We met in college, technically in the dining hall, but if you ask either of us, we'll probably say we met at cookie night because that night we talked for hours in my little crappy dorm room. Before Peat left, I gave him my number and waited for him to reach out. FINALLY, he texted me and invited me to a basketball game. Don't ask me who won or what team our college was playing because I only remember laughing and talking to Peat. We didn't want our first hangout to end, so we decided to take our date to Chick-fil-A and sat in the parking lot talking and laughing more. We actually didn't date right away or that year, but it was the beginning of us, and it was perfect. Eventually, we found our way back to each other and will promise to never be apart again on 9/6/26 :)
