The Old Port is full of things to do; Eat your way through the city (favorites of ours include Black Cow, Bread & Friends, Bard Coffee, Papi, Portland Lobster Co.); Explore with a ferry ride to Peaks Island, or just walk, bop and shop.
One of our favorite spots, Austin Street is the perfect spot to experience Portland’s beer scene. Even better—it’s surrounded by other spots within walking distance like Après, the Zoo, or Goodfire Brewing. Or... walk up the hill to more fun (see next section).
Have a hankering for oysters? Check out The Shop for an incredible selection and laid back summer vibes. Plus, enjoy a selection of great drinks to choose from, or explore nearby spots Ramona's for sandwiches, Oxbow for drinks and duckfat fries, and Terlingua for Tex-Mex BBQ.
Maine’s most iconic lighthouse - Portland Head Light has amazing ocean views and walking trails - Plus, when you're over there, grab a lobster roll from one of the food trucks!
A favorite in the family - hit the links at Willowdale in Scarborough!
Mackworth is perfect for a taste of the outdoors - plus great views to match. Enjoy a 1.5+ mile loop in the heart of Maine's coast - pets welcome, and breweries like Allagash, Definitive, and Foundation are nearby.
Hanging out in Biddeford/Saco? Try our go-to spot for coffee [and Lexie's fav scones]! Play a game of cribbage over coffee, buy a new-used book, or enjoy good conversation and people-watching.
A must-visit in Biddeford; The buttermilk pancakes are spectacular - especially when doused in syrup. You also can't go wrong with a cup of diner coffee or some corned beef hash.
