We owe everything to Jesus and Donald Trump! And we're actually serious about that... we got set-up for our mutual love for all things Jesus and Republican (shout-out to our girl Jerris). Logan loves to say it was love at first sight for Lexie and he's not wrong. When he showed up at her door for their first date, her exact thoughts were: "Oh I'm in trouble." Lexie loved to call Logan turtle boy (he moved a pinch slower), but that she had this deep gut feeling he would be worth everything, and she's wasn't wrong either. After lots of dates, long talks, walks with Koda Bear, and lots of kisses... Logan finally got to meet Emmy Lou... and it was love at first sight for her too. The girls were suckers for "Logy" (as Emmy likes to call him). But the girls had him hooked too. Date nights turned into family park days and movie nights turned into bedtime routines and everything was just right in the world. It felt like heaven was coming to earth. The next several months were filled with laughter and love, teaching Logy bear how to be a dad, teaching Lexie to be excited to be a dog mom (still working on that one), healing hearts, meeting families, planning futures, fun trips, and all that is peace, and fun, and happiness. Logan became Lexie's rock and Lexie became Logan's safe place. Best friends. Then came ring shopping and a magical engagement in Africa. We couldn't feel more blessed and happy. We both believe God led us through every hardship and every year apart (both the good and the bad) so that we could become who we are now, perfect for each other. We are so grateful for our friend, Jesus, who knows us inside and out, who helped us through it all. We are thankful for a God who wrote a plan even better than we could have created. Last but not least, we are SO grateful for YOU, our beautiful friends and family that have been through every moment with us. We can't wait for a whole day celebrating the love we found, with our favorite people on this earth (and to see Emmy Lou as a flower girl and Koda Bear as a ring bearer, are we joking?!). We want our wedding to be filled with heart, and soul, and laughter, and happy tears. Come ready to cry and give a speech, to eat lots, to roast us and laugh, and to dance your heart out (seriously you better be ready to dance because we will make you)! We love you all. Everyone that has been invited to our special day has made a special impact on our lives. We love each other more than words could ever say, we love our Emmy Lou and Koda Bear with every fiber of our beings, and we love YOU with our whole hearts. Now let's party <3
