A lovely, smaller mountain town with less shopping than Breckenridge. However, less densely populated and the outdoors are easy to access.
Iconic ski resort and further from the wedding site, but full of hiking options. In early October, it's likely much of the shopping in the main village will be gearing up for the ski season. We recommend looking into what may or may not be open if you're looking to spend time around the village. Resorts, hotels or spas would likely still be options.
A delightful mountain town with shopping and restaurants, and the location of our hotel block. Lookout Mountain is popular for paragliding and cyclists. Hiking trails nearby and a paved footpath along a river cut through parts of the town.
A remote, tiny mountain town, popular for disbursed camping, off roading and 4-wheeling. Jason and Lexie spent a memorable night camping near Nederland, seeing several moose - and waking up to some rustling in the nearby bushes!
A quintessential Colorado city which remains a hot spot for runners, cyclists and shoppers.
This small mountain town is the location of the ceremony and reception. A cute downtown strip contains a few restaurants and cafes, but the hiking trails and nearby rafting or outdoor experience companies are the main draw.
The Cherry Creek North area is known as a prime shopping area of Denver. Check out the mall nearby or the many boutique shops and wonderful restaurants covering several blocks.
