Matron of Honor
Sarah and I work together, and we first got close when there was a bad storm on the way back from a client site. The roads were flooding and we ended up pulling over into a movie theater to wait for the rain to calm down. It ended up working out because we've been close ever since! Sarah and her husband, Parker, are some of Ian and my closest friends in Houston and we are so excited to have them with us.
Maid of Honor
Julia and I have been friends since we were four years old. We've gone through it all together, including our awkward years and when I tried to take up squash (Julia's sport of choice). Julia recently moved to Texas and I'm so happy to have her close to me for the first time since high school. She's one of the most kind and hardworking people I know, and I'm so excited to have her standing next to me.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and I didn't get close until we lived together during our internship in Chicago. We're the only two of our friends to still be working at Big Four firms, and I don't know what I'd do without Morgan to commiserate with. Morgan and I have a habit of dropping all of our plans to take a spontaneous trip to New Orleans, and those trips have been some of my favorite.
Bridesmaid
Marissa and I got close through the accounting program at Tulane. She's now in law school and is one of the hardest-working people I know. We both have been each other's third-wheels on many dates, and her dry humor is exactly what I need when I'm feeling down.
Bridesmaid
Annie and I started as "forced" friends when our parents started becoming close. That was twenty years ago, and since then the Goldbergs have become family, and Annie is the sister I've never had. She's right by my side for every Thanksgiving, Christmas party, and Bethany vacation, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Bridesmaid
Sam and I were in the same sorority at Tulane, and I wouldn't have gotten through all of the date parties and events without her. We've been on countless trips together and she's one of my favorite travel companions. She's in medical school now and I can't wait for her to officially be Dr. Sam and diagnose all of my medical questions!
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met at Tulane through Sam. She has unlimited energy and always up for a good time, whether that means booking spur-of-the-moment trips or dragging me out of bed to make use of the day. She is loyal and compassionate, and one of the few people that Ian trusted to tell about the proposal. I can't wait to have her with us on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Haley and I overlapped many classes together at Tulane, and all of a sudden we looked at each other and said "huh when did we become so close". Those that are close with Haley are lucky to be close to her - she is one of the most empathetic and kind people I know, and I'm honored she'll be a part of our day.
