It's Been A Long Time Coming...

This story begins in 2004, Graham and Lexie were in the same preschool class at First Church of God and were even in the same VBS group one summer. When it was time for kindergarten, they were separated until the second grade when Graham entered the public school system. Always knowing of each other, Lexie and Graham had mutual friends throughout elementary, middle, and high school but never really spoke more than a few words to one another (which is odd for Lexie because she can talk to a brick wall). After their senior year of high school, they were separated again by their own adventures: going to college, traveling, and becoming who they are. We fast forward to October 31, 2022, where our main characters come together again as coworkers at Sterling Physical Therapy in Mount Sterling. Lexie was working as a Physical Therapist Assistant and finishing her bachelors so that she could apply to DPT school at the University of the Cumberlands. Graham was hired as a Physical Therapy Technician and was working to see if physical therapy was what he was called to do for the rest of his life. Over time, they came to be good friends while working together. They would go to lunch with coworkers, talk about sports, help each other with applying for DPT school, and celebrate when Lexie got into DPT school. Separation continued to seem to be a common divider for this couple. Lexie began DPT school in January of 2024 and realized working was not the best thing for her with school. So in March of 2024, Lexie left Sterling Physical Therapy and you would think that she would have left Graham too, but the two of them had other plans. Lexie continued to message Graham and Graham would continue to respond. Day to day. Week to week. The two going back and forth about sports, school, work, and life in general. Then one day, Graham promised Lexie a UK vs UF baseball game. Plans were made. A date was set. Nothing was said after that about it. Just small talk here and there. The day before the game, Lexie messaged Graham and asked if he was still wanting to go to the game. After many texts back and forth, he sent "Think I'm good for the game tonight if you wanna go" and she replied "Yeah, I think it'd be fun" with a smile on her face. So, from then on, the two have been inseparable; with the first day of their love story marked as 5/19/2023, the yes day marked as 4/28/2024, and their best day is going to be marked as 11/22/2025. They've had lots of fun, laughs, smiles, tears, trials, and love that brought them here and they couldn't be happier to celebrate this love story with each and every one of you.
