We're so excited to celebrate with you!

From Lexie’s perspective - Dreyton and I got engaged just after our third dating anniversary in November of 2023. Dreyton was still in school at the time, so we were doing long distance while I worked in Sioux Falls. I went to Ames to celebrate our anniversary one week, not expecting anything too fancy, but boy was I wrong! We made a picnic and went to Ledges State Park, where we had our first date. Having waited for Drey to get out of class all day, I was starving by the time we got to Ledges. I started tearing into our picnic, and couldn’t understand why Dreyton wasn’t following suit. As I have about 5 cheese and crackers in my mouth, he gets down on one knee and proposes. I managed to say yes, through tears, and also cracker crumbs, and the rest is history!
