Carson and I met at our church in Winston Salem - we were set up by one of our pastors, and we quickly found out we both grew up a mile apart from each other in Weddington, NC! On our first date, 22 minutes in Carson asked me on a second date! He was just so excited! On our second date, we went to an escape room which really sealed the deal as we found we work well together solving puzzles. Together, we love to be outdoors - day trips to Boone or runs around the neighborhood, we love icecream!! We both love baking! Carson has a powerful life changing testimony of how the Lord redeemed his heart after he fell into addiction when his mom was tragically paralyzed from the waist down during a tumor resection 10 years ago. We praise the Lord daily for his life and his story! He is currently in seminary, and wants to be a lead pastor. One day we hope to plant a church together. I am a PA in pediatric emergency medicine at our local children’s hospital. Caring for sick children and their families in their most vulnerable moments is such a passion of mine. The JOY that children carry even when they are sick makes my job so special! I love being the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. We want our special day to be reverent and sacred as we worship the Lord and enter into the covenant of marriage. We want the gospel to be on display and God glorified as we celebrate all he is doing in our lives with the people we love the most!
