Lexie had just finished her first summer semester as a first year physical therapy student when Austin suggested a picnic date. He let Lexie "choose" the location and after some thought Lexie picked the original date spot: a local park. She packed up the picnic bag, but before they left he grabbed two more bags of chips that he claimed he needed. They arrived to the park and got all set up. Austin decided that they should take some pictures to capture some memories. After struggling to get the video set up, he reaches down, grabs a chip bag, opens it up, and there lies the ring box. Austin asks, "Will you marry me?" and fireworks start going off in the distance (We heard fireworks shooting off on our first date two years prior). After being in shock for five minutes, Lexie eventually said yes!
