Maid of Honor
Kalleigh has the honor of being Lexie's lifelong friend-- they first met when Lexie was only a few days old. They first started planning this wedding using Barbies and Polly Pockets 20+ years ago. The wedding will contain less pink and glitter than previously planned.
Best Man
Tony and Andrew have known each other since elementary school and have been good friends since. They were roommates in college, and he even accompanied Andrew when he went to adopt kitty cat Mia. Tony may seem innocent, but he has to be a little messed up to be friends with Andrew.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and Lexie have been friends since middle school when they were both on crutches at the same time. They bonded over being the most accident-prone people in school... They might still be. As adults, they continue to bond over the best types of planners, markers, and organization systems.
Groomsman
Nick and Andrew have been friends since high school. First they hung out in Adelante (Spanish club) and he stuck with Andrew through college as one of his roommates. Probably one of his goofier friends, Nick always has something snarky to say.
Bridesmaid
Lexie has known Anna since childhood, but they became good friends in high school working together at Tamarack Nature Center. They went on to be roommates in college, enjoying pancakes, tequila, and racing to move their cars before the plows boxed them in. Anna once told a story about a ficus that was so funny, Lexie cried.
Groomsman
Andrew has known Joe since high school and throughout college. He is another one of Andrew's college roommates, although more brief as he decided to join the navy part way through. He came crawling back to us in Minnesota and we are happy to have him apart of this big day.
Bridesmaid
Lexie and Molli met through the UMD teaching program, and later became roommates. They accomplished some of college's biggest milestones together: Molli drove Lexie to the ER, and Lexie taught Molli how to remove contacts while wearing fake nails (the 2 stories are unrelated). They once had a Swiffer vs. broom swordfight in a parking lot. Broom won.
Groomsman
Andrew and Kalen became good friends through high school and college. Another former roommate, Kalen is always up to something interesting and can always make me laugh by saying the dumbest of things. Hopefully the army allows him to be here during this wonderful day.
Bridesman
Lexie also met Jonah through the teaching program at UMD. They bonded over poetry, cats, and a shared love of taking a typo and turning it into a years-long running inside joke. Hwah!
Groomswoman
Emma has the honor of being related to such a wonderful brother like Andrew. She has a quirky and powerful personality so if anyone tries any funny business, she’ll make sure throw down and get things back to normal. Truly the best sister that Andrew could have asked for, we are incredibly happy to have her here with us.
Honor Attendant
Lexie and Sami have known each other since high school, but became good friends teaching across the hall from one another. Sami is the only person allowed to enter Lexie's classroom when she is taking a nap under her desk during a prep period.
Ring Bearer
Oliver is Lexie's nephew, and Andrew's biggest fan. The couple predicts Oliver will be taller than both of them within the next 3 years.
