We're Getting Married!

Allen and I met when we were young; our older brothers were friends and we attended the same middle school/ high school. After graduation, we’d occasionally see each other at mutual hangouts. One night, we ran into each other and Allen commented how beautiful I looked. I didn’t think much of it because we’d been friends for so long. We ended up hanging out all night until the bar closed, then sat in my car and talked until the sun came up. Allen proposed when the ball dropped on New Year’s 2021. We toasted to the new year with my family, I turned around, and he was on his knee. I was shocked and couldn’t believe what was happening. It was the happiest moment of my life.
