If you know Lexi, you probably know she spent many years of her life working at Frost Gelato. She started working there as a bright-eyed 16 year old, never expecting to meet the love of her life in a gelato shop. Fast forward four years, and in walks Willie Mann - hired as a gelato chef and, more importantly, Matt Ortega's best friend. Lexi and Matt (Best Man) had become close friends after working together for a couple years, and Matt had talked about Willie so often that Lexi felt like she already knew him. The moment she actually met him, she knew she was in trouble. In fact, Lexi often pestered Matt to set the two of them up - clearly she had a good feeling. Willie was handsome, funny, kind, played soccer, was close to his family.. what was there not to like? After countless shifts together and some not so subtle flirting in the kitchen, Willie finally asked Lexi out on their first date to El Charro. He picked her up in his 1998 red Chevy truck, which had no air conditioning, a passenger door that wouldn't open (Lexi had to slide in through the driver's side), and no working radio (so Willie brought a portable speaker). But none of that mattered - Lexi loved how thoughtful and intentional Willie had been. They hit if off immediately, talking and laughing the whole night. Neither of them was looking for anything serious, but their connection grew quickly and effortlessly. Within a few short months, they were inseparable and completely in love. Some of their favorite things to do together include trying new restaurants, traveling to new places, playing on a coed soccer team, walking their crazy dog, Friday beers (a MUST) and spending time with the amazing friends they've made as a couple. They've truly woven their lives together, sharing not only a deep love for one another, but also a genuine love and appreciation for each other's families. Lexi and Willie continue to push each other, support one another and grow both as individuals and as a couple. Over the years, Lexi and Willie have shared so many life moments: parents getting married, the loss of loved ones, college graduations, career changes, rescuing a puppy, moving to a new city - and everything in between. Their wedding day holds even more meaning, as they'll celebrate their seven year dating anniversary the very next day. They're so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Your love and support mean the world, and they truly couldn't imagine getting married with out you!
