Sacramento International Airport (SMF)

This is the closest airpot to the wedding and really the only airport unless you are looking to road trip in from San Francisco (SFO, about 3hrs to the venue) or Reno (RNO, about 2hrs to the venue). It's actually only about 10 minutes from where we live. Make sure to make transportation arrangements tho, as the Venue is about an hour drive away. SMF is a relatively small airport, but its clean and really well organized! They have a rental car facility on site that you can take a shuttle to from your terminal.

If you want to book your car direct with your favorite company, the airport has all of the good ones (Hertz, Enterprise, Budget etc) But if you are looking to save a buck I always recommend using hotwire.com to book rental cars. Its quick and easy and usually at least a little cheaper! Download the app to make it even easier!

House Or Rental

VRBO

VRBO is very similar to Airbnb, but it seems that they have a lot more to offer in Foresthill, CA. Click the link to view what is available close by. You are going to want to book these ASAP as there will likely be more than one wedding in the area that weekend and the house rentals go quickly!

Airbnb is a great option. Vrbo (very similar platform) has more that is closer to the venue but Airbnb has a few as well. Definitely book these ASAP as they will be reserved quickly.
