RSVPs are due by October 1st. This deadline will help us button up the finishing touches and submit the final head count to several of our vendors. Please be mindful of this to give us enough time to finalize those pesky seating charts.
All invites have been written and sent to those we intend to share our special day with. If it's not explicitly listed that a plus one is included with your invite, we would appreciate celebrating with just you. We tried to be as inclusive as possible with our guest list!
YES! We have chosen to include kids due to the growing amount of them quickly accumulating in our family! Please be sure to include them in your RSVP. With this being said, we want to ensure that we have a smooth transition from good, clean fun to down and dirty dancing. Please ensure all kids are tucked into bed or have their ears covered by 9pm. We are not responsible for what they do, see, hear, OR repeat at school if parents decide they can stay past 9:00pm.
Please include any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP so we can accommodate.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to have enough time to park, settle in, and find a seat. We will have music and canned beverages or cocktails available from 3:30pm until the ceremony starts. Yard games will also be available, so if you'd like to catch the early bus, feel free to come to the pre-ceremony tailgating party!
The front desk of the hotels will have a copy available for you to snap of picture of if you desire and it will be clearly posted at the venue as well. We will make sure to add an online copy of it to this website closer to the day of the wedding for those who want it at the tips of their fingers.
Clothing is NOT optional. Dress Code: Cocktail Attire. Think wedding-appropriate, classy, and comfortable enough for dancing the night away! Ladies: Heels may sink into the lawn, so block heels or wedges are recommended. The wedding ceremony is currently planned to be outside with an indoor reception. Dress for the weather and bring a light jacket. It's October after all, so it's very unpredictable. Cross all of your fingers and toes that the snow stays away so we get to do everything to plan!
There is plenty of on-site parking available at the venue, just follow the signs when you arrive. The shuttle bus is already paid for and is available to use if you're planning to stay at one of the hotels listed.
An alarm clock or phone calendar app might be a good investment. Afterall, Google maps tells you EXACTLY how long it takes to get to a destination these days. There is also a shuttle bus scheduled to help you arrive on time. Maybe a swift kick in the pants would be deemed clinically necessary if all other tactics fail. However, we understand emergencies and traffic happen, so if you do end up being a smidge late, hold tight. Our ushers will show you to a seat at a time appropriate to avoid any distractions to our other guests during the ceremony.
No- we have noticed an increasing trend of hotels up-charging for rooms when blocked for weddings. There are plenty of hotels in the immediate area and we are not concerned about them being overbooked.
Yes, beer, wine, and possibly cocktails will be available. The booze is on us, but the hangover is on you, so please drink responsibly!
We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony and vows. We have already hired a team of talented photographers to capture the moments for both us, and our family. Kindly keep phones out if sight and on silent through the entire duration of the ceremony.
YES! Please help us capture all of the crazy dance moves and the shooters that will be shot! We want to see the worst of the worst, the best of the best, and everything in between!
The party... after the party... If you're still there, you'll be in the know. Need we say more?
