We're getting married!

With all of the recent events happening, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. With the safety and health of our loved ones in mind, we have chosen a new date of September 26, 2020. We want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will cause and hope that all travel and stay arrangements can be moved to our new date. Please know as hard as this decision was to postpone, it was made with everyone’s best interest in mind. We pray that you all remain safe and healthy during these difficult times. The first night we met, Lexi and friends showed up to a fun filled party at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house at East Carolina University. It was there Lexi learned how fun and how great of a dancer Sam really is. After going a year or two later without seeing each other, we reconnected on the 4th of July on Masonboro Island. We had the time of our lives that day and did not leave each others side until the sun went down. After the craziness of the 4th, I somehow talked Lexi into an ice cream date at Circles on Wrightsville beach before we both returned to ECU for the fall. It was there I knew Lexi was the one for me. Several months later we began dating and the rest is history.

Sam planned a beach weekend getaway to Wrightsville Beach, NC for what I thought was to celebrate the end of his second tax season. He rented the cutest little cottage overlooking the sound and steps away from from some of our favorite restaurants on the beach. We spent the Saturday by walking the beach, eating chicken salad sandwiches and laying by the sound to catch some sun. A perfect day in my book. I was told to be ready for a nice dinner by 6 pm. For the first time in my life, I was ready on time. To my surprise, Sam walked me out to the sand on the sound side and got down on one knee!! I was so thrilled and said yes! The next thing I know we are in a car on the way to my parents house. I was shocked when we got there to see all of our closest friends and family there to celebrate! It was truly the best day of our lives thus far. We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with you!
