We met in Star, Idaho thanks to some mutual friends. We went on one date and proceeded to spend the next seven days together and it just took off from there. Seems like a normal "love at first sight" deal, right? WRONG! Things took a weird turn the more we learned about each other. We grew up on opposite sides of the same neighborhood, less than 5 minutes apart. We went to the same high school 7 years apart and he worked at the McDonald's right down the street from me. When we met, our jobs were on the other side of town from our parents' places but only 5 minutes away from each other. We spent the majority of our lives practically on top of one another but never even knew the other existed. Fate knew to keep us apart until the perfect time and that it did. Now, 5 years later and we couldn't imagine life without each other!
